This project, born from my own fascination with analog photography, explores the emotional depth of the medium through moving images. Focusing on presence rather than outcomes, the films capture the quiet intensity of observation before the shutter is released, using medium format and traditional SLR systems to make the craft’s physicality tangible.

Evolving as a long-term personal project, it will grow through regular film releases and potential collaborations. At its core, it is a study of stillness, process, and the subtle poetry of true craftsmanship.

Daydream

For biologon, this piece explores the quiet space between childhood imagination and future reality. Following a young child stepping into an empty room that slowly transforms into a white, dreamlike world, the film reflects on how early visions can shape an entire path.

The video introduces the new partnership with Lisa Hauser while telling a simple but emotional story: sometimes the dreams we carry as children are the ones that stay with us the longest. Produced in close collaboration with the client and a small creative team, the project blends playfulness with a calm, cinematic tone.

10 Years TiroLignum

For proHolz Tirol, this film marks the 10-year anniversary of TiroLignum with a classic portrait of its origin and development. Through interviews with the key people behind the project and voices of its users, the piece traces how the initiative has evolved over the past decade.

Calm and straightforward in its approach, the film brings together past intentions and present perspectives into one coherent narrative — a concise look at the people, ideas, and impact that have shaped TiroLignum.

Wachter-Salzgeber

For Hansesun in Vorarlberg, I accompanied the installation of a residential energy storage system while simultaneously documenting a reportage production for Vorarlberg heute. The project moved between technical installation and behind-the-scenes observation, offering a slightly different perspective on the process.

What initially felt open in direction gradually evolved into a coherent piece. The result is a quiet companion film that captures both the practical work on site and the atmosphere around the production — showing the project from a more observational angle.

Above the Valley, Near the Sun

For Hansesun, this film portrays the remote Kielebergalm, which until now has relied on a loud diesel generator as its only source of power. Set against the calm alpine landscape, the project documents the transition toward a quieter, cleaner energy solution.

By accompanying the installation of Hansesun’s photovoltaic system, the film follows the path of energy from the roof into storage and into the house — simple, local, and sustainable. What began as a technical upgrade becomes a quiet story about independence and the future of energy in remote mountain locations.

Beautiful But Broken

I had the opportunity to accompany Aria Sadr-Salek and Leica during the creation of a screen print exhibition centered around one core idea: art should be accessible — for everyone. From the very first moments in the studio, the focus was not only on the final works, but on the craft, the decisions, and the physical process behind them.

The result is a small body of moving work — including a process film, short teasers, and a spontaneous event aftermovie — documenting the journey from the making of the prints to the exhibition. At its heart, the project reflects on accessibility, materiality, and the power of handmade photographic work.

Stille Örtchen

Stille Örtchen by Daniel Schemmel and Julian Voit places a toilet into the public sphere — deliberately positioned in busy, highly visible urban environments. While the protagonist uses the “quiet place,” everyday life continues around him, seemingly undisturbed.

The project plays with the tension between privacy and exposure, using a familiar symbol of retreat to question social norms in public space. As a provocative photographic intervention, it invites viewers to reconsider where we draw the line between private and public behavior.

SNAP

SNAP is an internal Volksbank program focused on strengthening the mental and physical well-being of employees. It encourages conscious moments of pause and recovery, especially during periods of high stress and workload.

The film translates this mindset into a calm visual metaphor: a quiet walk through the forest. Reduced and atmospheric in tone, the piece reflects SNAP’s core intention — creating space to slow down, reset, and return with renewed clarity and balance.
