Wachter-Salzgeber

This project in Vorarlberg began with a clear technical focus: documenting the installation of a residential energy storage system for Hansesun. At the same time, the process was accompanied by a reportage production for Vorarlberg Heute, which opened an additional layer — less about pure documentation, more about observing the dynamics around the work itself.

In the beginning, the exact shape of the piece was not entirely defined. The situation required a certain openness on set, moving between structured installation coverage and a more intuitive behind-the-scenes perspective. Gradually, however, the material began to align, revealing a quieter narrative that sits somewhere between technical documentation and observational reportage.

The final film offers a slightly shifted viewpoint on what is usually seen as a straightforward process. By staying close to the people, the workflow, and the small in-between moments, the project became a rounded story that looks at the installation not only as a finished result, but as a lived process unfolding in real time.
